Raw uncut pond action

That's what this one is about. If you're planning on fishing and want company, put that here. If the fish talk you have to say doesn't fit anywhere else, that can go here too.

Raw uncut pond action

Post by ThunderStick »

I actually got out and fished soft water over the weekend (RIP 2010 ice season) for the first time this year. I know I missed some of the best months of the softwater season but this damn kitchen overhaul I'm dealing with is taking all my time. Anyhoo, hit the flow on my pond an hour before dusk casting a 1/32 tinsel tail jig in the flow, giving it a jerk n twitch here and there. Didnt take long before the first bass was landed. Fished for an hour, got 15 largies (biggest around 3lbs) and a couple bonus crappie. Nice to get back in the game.

Awesome Paul, glad to know you the kitchen didn't get the best of you! haha

I still owe you a trip out to my spot. Whenever you are ready let me know. I have it on good authority that topwaters are already snagging a few fish here and there.

The bass have been smashing the buzzbait lately. I've been tossing buzzers made by VisionLure. Well constructed lures that produce. I highly recommend.
