C'mon winter!!

And you can do that here. Off fishing topic and off the wall subjects and plain bitch sessions. Sometimes you just need to have an outlet. Only registered users can see this forum.

we'll get winter but will she make ice?

its been a wacky few years.

was it 3 years ago we had fishable ice mid december.
then we had a huge warm up and it didn't freeze again to the end of january.
See the world before its gone!

Applied for a job today. It's a long shot, but I can do it. It's a matter of convincing the right people.

One of the qualifications they require is "Experience with and passion for outdoor sports especially fishing (including ice) and hunting is preferred."

So I may be calling on you freaks...

Wish me luck.

keep the ice on the still water and off the moving water
What a long, strange trip it still is .

Put a glide in your stride, a dip in your hip and come onto the mother ship .

My grandmother taught me that one. Don't need to start a family tradition. I was just starting to get into ice fishing then too.
