North Aurora Days — Kids Fishing Derby
This is on a good sized private lake that's strictly catch and release.
It's run by an old Fox River fishing friend, Kevin Drendel. He's here on the board somewhere, but too buys to fish any more.
If you can volunteer, great.
Otherwise, get your kids out.
Last year 50 participants caught 651 fish.
That's pretty damn good odds, I think.
Volunteers should be there at 6:30 AM.
Derby is at 7 AM.
Pretty easy stuff. Wander around keeping score and encouraging the kids.
