3D archery event.

If you haven't been to one-GO!

Its a great way to improve your shooting accuracy and they are a lot of fun.

Many clubs in the area have a monthly 3d shoot with anyone invited for ~$10.
Courses are usually 40 targets of various animals laid out in a golf course setting through the woods.

February 1st many will have a monthly event.

I'll post dates and locations soon.

I plan on doing something about a bow this year.
I'm intrigued by making my own and have done the research. Recently found a stockpile of wood that might work.

I want to go the more traditional bow route.

Maybe I'm just dreamin'.

Borrow a bow and start..
I have an extra or use mine.

Making one is on my "to do"ist also.

If I wait i'll be retired before I fling one..

Also.
My boysboth shoot compounds and love the 3d events, their favorite was a full size moose & zebra and baby stegasaurus..

Next one is June 22/23rd
Saturday & Sunday.

I did notice a few fish at the last one!

Made me think of eating some pan fried walleye or bass.

Ken

You knucklehead did you ever get a bow?

Forget making one, by the time its done your girls kids can shoot it.

Buy a compound and lets go.
3-d events start in a month.

Don't ask me how I came across this, I have no idea. But I'd still like to try things the old fashioned way. And these seem reasonably priced.

Before I invest in anything, why don't we go and you let me try out yours?
