Is the water too high, too low or just right. Before heading out to fish your favorite flowing water, know what you're up against. Might save you some time or help you decide where to go.

I'm going to start putting up more Real Time links for the different river basins as I get the time. I have them all the way I want them and will start getting them up soon.

What I need is for you guys to start coming up with explanations like I did for the Fox River gauges for the waters you like to fish. Even if its bits and pieces of information. I'll pull that info together some how and put it in for each river basin.

I'll be putting something up for what I know of the Kankakee and the Apple River. Then we'll take if from there. I have no idea what the gauge readings for the Des Plaines or DuPage mean, so it will be up to those that fish them to start breaking it down.

I guess I can look into the Kish, Rock, Mazon and a bunch of others. I used to know the Kish and Mazon, but it's been a long time.

Maybe this will all work out. I know I rely heavily on what I've learned on the Fox over the years.
