Did you just give up or?

I try my hand at everything and try to write something about the adventures. Successful or failed.

Seriously. I purchased an 870 over the winter and blasted a few hundred clays. I'd love to head out with a few more knowledgeable fellow for a hunt.

Last fall I had several guys lined up to buy a membership st a pheasant club by St Anne. September I had a detached retina surgery that put me down until almost spring.... I'm ready this fall, so are my sons. clay blasting will get us ready...

Old thread I know, but today would have been a perfect day to wander around Marseilles looking for skirels.

And no, I have done no hunting this season at all. Too cold, too busy, too broke.

Hoping to change things for 2014. Will be saving nearly $300 a month in rent alone, so we'll see.

I would like to get a deer with one of my recurve bows or the old wood one. I know where to go, just have to figure out some details and see if I can get permission on one piece of property.
