Dupage 5/15

East and West Branches plus the main stem, not much to look at sometimes, but an astonishing fishery.

Dupage 5/15

Post by Frank Macikas »

Stopped off at Seil Rd in Shorewood after work today. Fished for about 45 mins and caught two smallies 18 &16" and a very aggressive largemouth taped at 13". Fish are still on beds and used a white strike king tube. Even the smallies seemed much more aggressive today. I would have stayed longer but had some kid jump in the river behind me and wade right upriver past me so decided it would be a good day to get home early for a change. No camera so no pics; maybe next time.

John how much depth do you need for a drift boat; I would love to get out with you sometime! If not a drift boat I have a spare kayak; nothing special but it floats and I have a drag chain set up on it.
