Summer beeeeers....make me feel fine.

And you can do that here. Off fishing topic and off the wall subjects and plain bitch sessions. Sometimes you just need to have an outlet. Only registered users can see this forum.

Summer beeeeers....make me feel fine.

Post by Anthony Mikos »

It is a rare occasion when I have 20+ beers in my fridge, but thanks to a recent game night and 3 cases being purchased for me for Father's Day festivities, I actually have an abundance. A surplus, really. Whole top shelf is beer only. It is primarily New Belgium Ranger IPA & Sierra Nevada Pale Ale, but there is also a bottle each of Two Brothers Domaine Dupage, Bells Oberon and Great Lakes Edmund Fitzgerald in there. Those 3 are reserved for my wife who drinks a lot less beer than me and also (because her tastebuds are broken, I guess) isn't a fan of hoppy beers.

Having beer in my fridge is one of my favorite feelings ever. What do you guys drink in the summer? Sierra Nevada is my go-to this time of year. The local Jewel carries it, it is great and not too expensive. Does the hot weather have an impact on what you like drinking?

I've cut way back over the years and hardly touch the stuff anymore.

But when I do, it's primarily Sam Adams. One of their varieties. I'm surprised I haven't bought any yet. Two is my limit. Just enough for a slight buzz and to whet my appetite.
