Okay..... Let me ask you this

Like any other blog, random thoughts on random subjects. Might be interesting, or not. I probably won't be putting up much more here. I have other blogs. Only registered users can see this forum.

too busy wading to post, fish, work, sleep.
What a long, strange trip it still is .

Put a glide in your stride, a dip in your hip and come onto the mother ship .

You should have the Kank all to yourself the next few days. I was going to head down there, but it seems to have suffered the same fate as all the other rivers in the area. Unlike you, 2500 is my comfort zone on that river.

There are only two rivers that I could find within a relatively short drive that can be waded. I'll leave it at that. :P :P

So all the rivers are blown out right now.........dont forget the pipe pattern at your local pond. I went out for an hour last nite and destroyed the fish on senkos and mini-mites. I was targeting big gills with the mini-mites but couldnt keep the dang bass off it. So today I have a bad case of bass thumb which I scare the gals in my office with. :D

More water for me! ;)

Hit the pipe again last nite, got some really nice bluegills and green sunfish along with all the bass.

Any chance you were out in the Plainfield/Naperville area?

I've been looking for a run-off pipe local to me (Oswego) or on my way home, and haven't had much luck.

That doesn't flow into Farmington Lake. (Well not anymore at least)

I am indeed in that area. I'd say you're more than welcome to fish there but there are some complications. I'm president of the lake association and have implemented a number of things recently to thwart the trespassers and poachers. We've had a lot of problems with strangers drinking and pissing and acting like the lake is their property so many members of the association are understandably upset. You'll need a daily permit (issued by me) or I need to be there with you otherwise you'll be challenged by a homeowner or the sheriff will be called. PM and we can figure something out.
