Winter BLUES are over.. Dupage River 2/10

East and West Branches plus the main stem, not much to look at sometimes, but an astonishing fishery.

Winter BLUES are over.. Dupage River 2/10

Post by smallmouthfisher »

So I woke up this morning and decided to head the the river to one of my spots. I had my spinning gear and a bag of Twisters. I worked the river for about an hour and managed these nice smallies. All fish were taken all over the river. I thought that they would be stacked in an area but I was catching them near shore, shallow and deep. I had about 6 fish total 3 Dinks and then these. on fish is pictured twice.

Enjoy.

Nice.

Had my daughter over the weekend and did some future Fox exploring on Saturday. I think I found the mouth of the no name/no location on maps creek that Ed explored. Will try to get pictures up this week.

Hope the weather improves for next weekend. I'm very curious about the area described in that long post on the DuPages.

But I may also be calling you for a location or two.

Glad to see that the fish are there.
