8/8/09 Big Rock Creek

Post by Ken G »

Just down stream from Jericho Road. Four smallies with a bigger 16 inch that didn't get away. Rock bass heaven so I quit counting. Should have brought by fly rod. Tied on a small jig with a small Case helgie. It catches everthing.

Log jams are just starting to freak me out. I don't like when they shudder as I go anywhere near them.

Nice piece of sculpture. Those are trees, not sticks.

These guys drifted by. I think they said they were going to Wedron. They've done it before. Pretty impressive if you look at maps.

They didn't look like they were going to be in much pain, if you catch my drift.
At least not till the next morning.

Still one hell of a journey.

I don't think you could carry enough booze to get to Wedron. Maybe they restock somewhere along the line, or indulge in some herbal refreshments.
