Re: My Last Fishing Report For Dale
Your insight will be missed. I think fishing with other people is overrated too. Unless it's on a boat or is really just a gathering with fishing included, most fishing excursions are more enjoyable solo. Glad you're not deciding to fall off the face of the planet either. I won't hesitate to call yo...

Re: water willows 6-19
Norm, What do water willow beds on the Kankakee look like? I've tried Googling the phrase but I get a variety of search results, and they all look different than what I had imagined in my head. I was picturing something similar to reeds or eel grass, but I have a feeling I'm wrong. If you can find a...

Back in the 1800s the hatchery you visited was probably using outdated information Ken.
The fish spawn occurs during the proper photo period. That is why there is a range of water temps they can spawn in.

Re: Kens magic wader sealant
That reminds me. I have a leak in my waders I need to fix but it's been so long since I used them i have no idea where the leak is... Last repair I did I used silicone adhesive. It was in the ankle where the neo-bootie met the wader nylon. I haven't had a leak there since and it's been a couple years.

Re: large monitor and time on your hands
Show me a year where it got too cold after the smallies started bedding where they re-absorbed their eggs. Please include evidence of this re-absorption. Fish will have eggs in their bellies, and make the migrations to spawning habitat regardless of what the water temperatures are. They will do this...

large monitor and time on your hands
Open up a separate window and go to www.wolfrivercam.com Select the Fremont cam from the map and shrink your window size so it sits with just the view-able camera image somewhere on your desktop. Supposedly the "peak" white bass spawning run is right around Mother's day weekend and the whi...
