Re: Mazon River 04/05/2010
Ya, I couldn't remember the name of it while we were out there yesterday. I knew it was Rainbow something or other, and it's Rainbow Council BSA. (Boy Scouts) The Fleur-De-Lis threw me off a bit. I know many different organizations use the symbol, but couldn't picture which ones in my mind. Anyways,...

Ya I need to find me a cracked version of photoshop or psp. I used to have a disk somewhere, but can't find it. I'll look for a cracked one at some point. Honestly I'm just too lazy to go find a cracked version at this point. I like to edit and tinker with the pics, but need some better software tha...

Ya Ken, the water levels were perfect. The clarity was basically perfect. That river is prime right now. Can't wait to get back out there!

Mazon River 04/05/2010
Today was the Pezdeks' first outing wading for the spring season. About damn time I got out. The morning started out well. It was cool, foggy, and a little overcast. CFS was at 195, with visibility right around 8-10 inches. We got in the water about 6:30am with me, my dad, my brother, and Sam. I thr...

Re: 4/3/10 Fox Saw wee kee
My brother said he thought that it was April 15th up until this year, but I dunno. I guess we all know now it's the 1st. I've never kept a bass anyways, so I'm not too worried about it. I don't plan on keeping any anytime soon either, so... Oh well.

Sounds good Ken. I think if someone is genuinely interested in the site they can go ahead and spend the 5 minutes to register. Not sure why that would be a big deal.

The 4 pounders are 20 inches or over. That's the way it works in rivers. Your chances of ever landing a 20 inch or better smallie out of a river around here are slim to none. I've only landed 3 in 14 years and lots of river fishing. I've got one in the past 3 years! I'm on pace for about 4 in 12 ye...

Re: I hate mid week good weather
At this point I'm hoping to hate mid-week good weather as well. Got a potential job lined up here, and I got my fingers crossed. As long as I get the interview I'm confident I can lock down the job. Funny how at this point I'm actually hoping to have only the weekends to fish.

Re: I hate high water
According to my notes from last year... The max CFS I waded the Dupage at was 480CFS out near Shorewood/Joliet. That was cooking pretty good if I remember correctly. The gauge I'm reading from shows the Dupage at 430CFS. To me, I'd go fish it, but stick to fishing areas that I know. The Mazon I wade...
