Noticed a similar thing on the Fox yesterday. A little pop of the jig and twister was getting the hits, otherwise not all that interested.
Be careful till you get your muscles back old man. Don't want to read in the paper about some big hairy guy floating belly up in the river.

9.11.13 Sunset Cruise
Got out for 1.5 hours across the river from the Saw Wee Kee launch. 11 fish on, most landed, including a largemouth and crappie. Spooked two great horned owls out of the trees right next to me at one point. Odd thing about those birds, you don't hear their wings beating. Can't think of other birds l...

Re: And with that, I'm done
If anything comes up before March 1st, let me know Ed. I'm liking that area more each week I explore. Plus, it's much easier to head east for work, even if it is a bit further. Straight shot, no lights or stop signs. Saves me 10-15 minutes.Special Ed wrote:I know someone with rental property out that way.

Re: And with that, I'm done
Good for you, man. There are still some stretches north of that which are worthwhile ;) -SB Was thinking about that today. Giving up on moving to Plano, it's a dump. Was checking out the towns on 30 West. Big Rock, Hinkley, Waterman. That would put me back in my old stomping grounds between Geneva ...

And with that, I'm done
After 13 years of proving it to myself, I will never fish the Fox between Yorkville and the Dayton dam ever again. Except for the 7 or so creeks that feed into this stretch. Those are still worth it. Between April 1st and June 15th when I stopped counting, I caught and missed over 500 fish out of Bl...

It's gotta be Sam. That's just the way it works. Look at what Duck Dynasty has done. Consistency is everything otherwise you just confuse people.heysambennett wrote:Nothing is standard across the sites, the video, etc.

River Rat Nation
Hey Sam, was out lurking. DO NOT use the top logo you put on the ISA site. It's awful. I don't care what the others are saying and comparing it too, UGH!!!! The bottom one is good, but you need to use the same fonts or similar to what you used on the logo on the trailer. If you're going to use that ...

Re: Something New on the www.nationalrivers.org Site
Vanessa, thanks for the info. It's been awhile since I had the time to go back to the NORS site. I went and looked at the site when you registered here. Different indeed, it looks good. I'll have to get that book and the handout to pass around. A lot of this kind of research I do during the colder m...

Re: blast stuff
Out of boredom one day a month ago I wandered around Silver Springs after the shooters left and within 30 minutes had four boxes of clays. Gave them to my brother in law. Could do that every Sunday evening if I wanted to.
People can't shoot worth shit.

Re: Anyone know this guy?
That's a shit plant walleye isn't it? Seems appropriate considering what little I could read of the article. The photo is courtesy of Nick it seems. Off his site? You know, I actually don't catch any fish. Why do you think there are no photos of me holding any, just arm shots. Could be anybody's arm...
