Waubonsee was completely choked with river redhorse. In the library pool I was snagging them every cast for 30 minutes. They fight better than walleye, but not much.

Both you and that smallie have the tough guy pose down pat.


I love it when those smallies tense up and flare like that.

Saw the flows on the USGS site just now had the Shorewood gauge reading 12k cfs.

Once the clarity returns, I think I'll stick to Lake Michigan the rest of the year.
