Re: Hi There
I fell in love with the Menominee River a few years ago. The fishing is amazing. I am looking for more smaller streams to wade for smallies...I love wading but also have a drift boat. Any ideas across the boarder on smaller streams?

Re: 2440 CFS
Floated from Yorkville to Silver Springs and boated two dinky fish on jig and twister. Doc threw Murdich Minnow streamaers all day and didn't have a bump. Water color and shmuts on my drift boat at the end of the day were very very depressing. Need new river to float...any ideas guys? Won't do this ...

My name is John Trayser...St Charles
I am a lifetime addict of fishing. Lived in Montana for 6 years but have returned home for family. I own a drift boat and am looking to find places to use it. The DuPage looks good but I don't know any put ins and take outs. Glad to share the boat with passionate anglers. I built a bonefish camp on ...

Re: Dupage River 7/17
Hey Frank- Great report on the Duper! Nice going! Do you know of a boat take out anywhere below Plainfield? I have a Clackacraft drift boat that we brought home from Montana and would love to use it around here. I saw a put in on my first trip to the Duper at like 119th st I believe. It would be gre...

Re: Dupage 7/5 and 7/6
thanks all for your kind sharing of spots...it's so unusual to find folks always so helpful. Ken my wife laughed her ass off at your comment...which was appropriate as we left St Charles this morning at 4:30 am to fish with a guide friend of hers on Lake Michigan near Portage. We each caught nice sm...

My pal Doc and I tried the DuPage earlier in the year when the weeds were terrible in most sections...this report has me thinking it is time to try it again. He's 79 and not a great wader these days ...even with a staff. We tried some water at a park in Shorewood that wasn't too bad. Any other sugge...

Simms is the only way to go...are you aware that the first repair is free? Their new boots have the amazing new Vibram sole. It's a softer rubber compound and good in all conditions including snow. If you get the star cleets that just came out you will greatly reduce slipping even on flat, slimy roc...

My friend Doc called this morning and wanted to meet about 1pm and head to the Batavia area...thanks to you Ken. Wind was whipping pretty good, water was Vodka...sweet Vodka. Tried topwater for just a while...water was really cold. Threw jig and twister in pearl and then pumpkin...nothing. Read some...
