Re: Commuting and Work

I'd rather live where I wanted and have a long commute than dislike where I live and be close to work. My sentiments exactly Adam. Having grown up in Chicago, I just can't stand being too close to it anymore. You didn't say where you live and Geneva/St. Charles is a decent area, but the river below...

Commuting and Work

Background first... Beginning of the year the wife was diagnosed with an aggressive form of Rheumatoid Arthritis, which ended her career and now she finds it hard to work more than part time. Problem is, no one wants to hire her at all because of the RA. We prefer to rent houses and the further from...

That's ok, even if faced with the realization that he is irrelevant he would certainly blame it on someone else.

He's always the victim.
That is true, isn't it? :D :D

Re: Damn Back

My car is out of commission while I wait for cash to fix the damn brake line. In the mean time I'm driving the wife's PT Cruiser. In one week my back is feeling better. I don't have to pry myself out of that evil piece of GM shit all the time. The damn seat my be part of my problem. Now for sure I k...

Re: Down to 44

Had to be done boys, the clutter was getting to me. Ed is my connection on Facebook to the rest of you. You all keep in touch much better than I do. Besides, I have this place here to take the grief you guys give me. I'm trying to figure out a way to separate things. I really do want to keep Faceboo...

Down to 44

Yesterday I went through Facebook and went from having 153 friends to 44. Most of those left are family. I couldn't take it any more. The only reason I ever got on there was to keep in touch with my daughters. I'll hang on to the other pages I made, business is business and what little I put up on W...

Re: Anyone here ever hear of this river?

Over the last couple of years I've done a pretty good job of making my writing and what I do out on the Fox irrelevant.

Over the past few years Andy has done the same thing with his writing and wherever the hell he fishes.

Difference is, he's not aware that he's become irrelevant.

Re: Anyone here ever hear of this river?

I forgot them all Ed. I vaguely remember some being pretty good. I'm getting better at self editing. Jonn pretty much started and was the first president of the ISA. I've known him for almost 15 years now. No, he's not much for computers and as far as I know has never participated on any forums othe...

Anyone here ever hear of this river?

This morning I woke up in a somewhat shitty mood, which was a warning sign. Two hours later the muffler pipe on the wife's car dropped to the pavement. I like dragging muffler pipe around. Such a soothing sound. Every morning I breeze through shit real quick before heading off to work. Something was...

Damn Back

Hit Saw Wee Kee sunrise on Saturday and got 26 fish on in 2.5 hours. Then blew out my back that afternoon. I'm pissed. I wanted to see if this is a pattern or a fluke. Going out now would probably be stupid and the wife has threatened to just let me die out there. Better than at a desk I suppose. St...
