Bluebirds
Took the family on an afternoon hike last Sunday to Knoch Knolls (which is pretty much the best thing I've found in Naperville during the 7 years of living there so far.....mature hardwood forest, Dupage river running thru it, some prairie) and what do I see? A flock of 4-5 Bluebirds doing their hap...

Re: any one going to watch this ?
Well, I thought Gary was gonna broadcast it too. Nope, instead I got a show where some guy was touting the sanity of ignoring doctors orders to use modern medicine to treat life threatening conditions and let God take care of things. Whoa.

Re: any one going to watch this ?

Re: Northern Pike
I turn to Livingstons column first thing. I think he's great. That guy will eat anything. Most of his cookbooks are available on Amazon. One of his books I bought used for 16 cents and lemme tell ya, its worth every penny!

Re: Northern Pike
I have a bunch of cookbooks by A.D. Livingston (the guy with the column in Greys Sporting Journal) and he's inspired me to try cooking largemouth over a fire. Re: Salmon on the Lake
When I lived in the city, I used to ride my bike to Montrose for the fall salmon run. What few I hooked (and didnt land) impressed the hell out of me. Those Kings are some seriously powerful fish. Ed's advice is definitely on target. One thing I'd add....swap out the stock hooks for chemically sharp...
