Lost and Found

FOUND: Pair of wading boots in the Shorewood area. PM me with the brand, type and spot lost and I will get them to you. Lost: A big mesh bag with 99% of my plastics, hooks and jigs somewhere between I believe I80 and Shepley Rd. (this fell off my pontoon and is most likely at the bottom of the river...

Dupage 9/17 & 9/18

I made it out on a float trip both Friday and Saturday; fishing was tough both days. Friday we did about a 4 mile stretch through Plainfield and I only picked up three small smallies and two decent largemouth and missed several bites. My buddy Mike picked up 3 total but with a very nice 17.5" p...

Re: Anyone up for the Duper tomorrow (Friday 9/17)

Just walked in the door; did a shortened float trip that still took 8+ hrs?? It was a TOUGH day! I have no idea why; conditions are perfect. I only managed 3 dink smallies and two largemouth around 10". The guy I met up with today got 3 smallies all together but one was a nice 17.5" chunk....

Anyone up for the Duper tomorrow (Friday 9/17)

Anyone going to be out on the Dupage tomorrow or want to meet up on the Duper? I just put my two weeks notice in yesterday to start working on my own as a contract closer for a few title companies. I have one sick day left at the current job so I figured I'd better use it or I'll lose it and tomorro...

Re: Ken: Seeking your advice!

do any of you use rattlebaits up there? since we've had lower water on my river, I've popped 600 smallies on rattlebaits, of course I've also fished almost everyday as well. Norm are you using rattle trap style baits or more like a rattling rapala? I've been fishing some stretches of the DuPage tha...

Naperville 9/11 and Plainfield 9/12 *Pics Added*

It was a pretty good weekend. I fished the West Branch in the north part of Naperville a little south of Ogden on Saturday afternoon and did my favorite 6 mile float through Plainfield with my buddy Alex. I have been wanting to try this spot in Naperville for a few years now; I used to live about 50...

It was a tough bite today for me too. Took me 10 hrs for 10 fish.
